SCP Papier organized a fabulous birthday party celebrating the company's 10th anniversary during lovely sunny days in the beautiful environment of  hotel Kaskady near Banska Bystrica.

Over 10 years of existing in the business of paper distribution, SCP Papier earned its strong position among top wholesalers. In 2006 it managed to earn first place on the Slovak paper market. The company appreciates its loyal customers and the party, which took place on 14th September, was dedicated especially to them. Hotel Kaskady took care of more than 100 guests that participated in the celebration with an extraordinary programme.

In the afternoon the presenter Andy Timkova welcomed guests and she managed to interview the general director Ing. Stefan Steller about the company's history and its activities: "The company was established in 1997. The major owner was SCP Ruzomberok (today Mondi Business Paper SCP). The other shareholder was the company Patex. Later the major shareholder decided to sell its shares in foreign wholesalers and in Slovak SCP PAPIER because of a new strategy, which was to specialize in its core business - paper production. Regarding SCP PAPIER'S sale structure, about 70% belong to graphic paper and 30% to office paper. Together with major labels, the company sells its own papers under the label Artist® which was launched in 2005...". The guests took advantage of the informal beginning of the event for conversations with old and new friends, or they looked over the exhibition of paper sample books or final paper products - books, magazines and catalogues.

The programme culminated in an evening full of singing, dancing and music presented by Gustav Brom Big Band conducted by Vlado Valovic. A marvellous atmosphere was completed by tasty food, perfectly chilled drinks and last but not least the guests, who enjoyed the party until early hours.
